Seaside locality famous for the presence, in the past, of numerous stars of show business and politics. Castiglioncello is situated on a promontory located just a few km south of Leghorn.
Bathed by the crystal clear sea of the Etruscans Coast, it is an ideal destination for surfer, windsurfer and lovers of sailing thank to the marine breeze constantly blowing here.

The coast is rich in beaches enclosed by really suggestive rocks and spurs. It is crossed by a panoramic street overlooking the sea that permits to admire  a breathtaking view over the shore and inner hills. The landscape of Castiglioncello has been portrayed many times by the “macchiaioli”, protagonists of painters of the twentieth century.
