Castagneto Carducci is located just a few km from the sea, it is surrounded by round hills cultivated with vine and olive trees. From these plants are come out excellent wines and extra virgin olive oil.
The original core of the city is really suggestive and typical of the tuscan countryside: the atmosphere is the one of a small town freezed in time with craft shops and open air restaurants. From the center you can enjoy a wonderful panorama ranging from the green hills to the blue sea.

Bolgheri, a locality of the municipality of Castagneto, is known worldwide for its wine production, rooted in the area for generations.
Here, in forefront agricultural companies, born famous red wines as Ornellaia and Sassicaia.
The town is known even for the scenographic boulevard leading to the entrance right under the medieval castle: the Viale dei Cipressi.

In Castagneto and in Bolgheri spent his childhood even the poet Giosuè Carducci who inspired by these lands wrote the famous poetry “Davanti a San Guido”.
